Blizzard collected questions in advance through its submission post.
What is still unanswered
These are the open questions going in — if the stream settles any of them, this site is updated the same day.
- The exact hour the beta opens. Blizzard has only ever said "September 17". Our countdown assumes 10 a.m. Pacific and says so; there is no official time yet.
- When the level cap moves from 20 to 30. The beta opens capped at 20 and rises to 30 "later" — no date has been given. See Beta day one.
- The Primary and Secondary tabs in the talent panel, visible in the BlizzCon demo and never explained. Dual spec, or something tied to Legacy?
- Which classes get baseline changes. Only Paladin, Warrior, Priest and Druid have announced changes outside the talent trees; the other five have nothing. Our class cards show what our own capture measured for each.
- Professions and Camping numbers, raid lockouts, and whether GDKP is banned — all named but never quantified.
After the stream
Anything new gets folded into the data behind these pages, and a follow-up guide goes up with what was actually said. The talent calculator is built from a frame-by-frame capture of the BlizzCon demo, so if the Q&A contradicts it, the affected talents get corrected rather than quietly left alone.
